Puerto Rican and a little cocky about it, I’m a freelance brand and front-end web designer based in Portland, Ore. I’m hooked on stories and the near-synesthetic experience of a telling them with colors, image, composition, type, and copy. I’ve been branding since I was too young to work at my father’s print shop in San Juan, Puerto Rico. From there, I cut my teeth on zine layouts before moving onto logo and brand. These days, I’ve found my calling in the realization that brands can come in all shapes and sizes - but the stories behind the brand (and most importantly, the people that have made it) are unique to the point of reverence.
If our stories define us, to brand them is to honor them.
Beyond pixels, I can also be found traveling, stargazing, sketching, and enjoying percussion instruments.
